Entries are not open yet — the terms below marked TODO(ben) are still being decided. Nothing is being collected on this page until they are. Check back.
1. Sponsor
BuyHalfCow. Legal entity and mailing address: TODO(ben).
2. Entry period
Entries are accepted from TODO(ben) through TODO(ben). Entries received outside that period are not eligible. The Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper.
3. Who may enter
Legal residents of TODO(ben) who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate households may not enter. Void where prohibited by law.
4. How to enter
Free entry: complete the free-entry form on this page once entries open. No purchase, no payment, and no deposit is required or requested.
With a reservation: TODO(ben). Reserving a share does not enter you until the Sponsor states that it does; the free entry above is the way in, and it costs nothing.
The limit is one entry per person per day. Entries made by a script, a bot or an automated service, and entries using an address that is not the entrant's own, are void.
5. Prize
TODO(ben) winner(s). Approximate retail value: TODO(ben). The prize is awarded as offered: it cannot be transferred, and there is no cash alternative unless the Sponsor states one. Any taxes on the prize are the winner's responsibility.
6. Drawing and odds
The winner is drawn at random from all eligible entries on TODO(ben). Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. How a winner is told
We contact the winner using the email address on their entry, and by phone if they gave one. A winner who cannot be reached, or who does not respond within seven days, forfeits the prize and another entry is drawn.
8. Your information
We collect the name, email, state and (optionally) phone on your entry to run the drawing and to tell the winner. We do not sell it. Entering does not sign you up for marketing email, and it does not create an account.
Want your entry deleted? Email hello@buyhalfcow.com and we remove it. See our privacy policy.
9. General
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any social network or advertising platform it may be promoted on.
The Sponsor may disqualify an entry that breaks these rules, and may cancel or amend the giveaway if it cannot be run as described — in which case a winner is drawn from the eligible entries received up to that point.
