Meet Frank

Since 1979, 5 Bar Beef has been a family-owned ranch committed to raising truly grass-fed, grass-finished beef the way nature intended. Our cattle are raised using holistic, regenerative grazing practices that restore the land while producing exceptionally nutrient-dense beef. We maintain a closed herd of Barzona cattle we’ve bred for over 47 years in Southern California. They are never given hormones, antibiotics, vaccines, chemicals, or grain—ever. Instead, they graze naturally on pasture, supplemented only with organic forage when needed. Unlike conventional beef, our cattle are raised slowly to full maturity (30–36 months), developing rich flavor and healthier fat profiles. The result is beef that is naturally higher in omega-3s, lower in inflammatory omega-6s, and deeply flavorful. Simply put: clean practices, healthy animals, and uncompromising quality—from conception to your plate.
